Our overall range remains good this week, as you would expect at this time of year! We have two new Tomato varieties in, Marbonne Beefsteak & Shirley rounds.
Shirleys are quite thin-skinned and soft for a tomato (old fashionned in that sense, and therefore not lovey by the supermarkets), but they are very tasty and last week's sun has brought them on well.
And we have a two week gap in our organic Cos Lettuces - the result of not being able to sow in early June when the weather was so poor! But non-organic (unsprayed) ones are still here.
Finally we have the first of the long thin aubergines in this week - thinner skinned, and sweeter than their larger cousins, they are always very popular!
