Pork Switch: Bridget Borlase returns...

A significant change for us this week - we are trying out a switch in pork producer from Gill Wing to Bridget Borlase.

 

Bridget used to supply our pork until a couple of years ago, when a logistical switch worked against us both and we had to stop.

 

But suffice to say, we are delighted to be taking her sausages, pork, gammon and (from next week) some bacon too. Her sausage of the week is pork, honey & mustard. She also offers a farmhouse sausage, which is a little bit spicier than the traditional sausage.


Otherwise pork lines will remain the same as before, and prices very similar too (belly better value @ 629p per kg,shoulder a bit more expensive at 785p / kg, loin the same at 999p)

Bridget also rears beef, and we will initially be offering her beef mince (great value at £7 / kg), a quick cooking minute steak, and also a nice steak & kidney pie mix.
