A New Range of Lancashire "Bomb" Cheeses

15 April 2014

We are very happy to be trying out a new range of Cheeses from Andrew Shorrocks from Goosnargh in Lancashire.

He makes a variety of classic Lancashire cheeses, and his family have been doing so for generations (The black and white picture here shows Andrew's grandfather, John Gaskel Shorrock who won Supreme Champion at the last Preston Open Cheese Competition before the war broke out in 1938).

All the cheeses are aged for 24 months  presented in traditional round wax (that make them look like an old fashionned bomb).

They are mature and strong, yet very creamy.

All the cheeses are suitable for Vegetarians.

They offer:

Plain Lancashire Bomb (
big and small)
Red Onion Bomb
Cracked Black Pepper Bomb
Garlic & Herb Bomb
Hot Chilli Bomb
Vintage Gold Bomb
Green Olive Bomb
Home Smoked Bomb
